Your First Sunday at Ridge Church

PLAN YOUR VISIt

Sundays at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.

Each service lasts about 75 minutes.

Visiting church can feel awkward, especially if it has been a long time or you have had a painful church experience.

At Ridge, you can take things at your own pace. You will not be singled out or pressured. Come for a service, watch online first, or explore the information below before deciding what to do.

    F.A.Q.

    • We are located in Oak Ridge at 157 Lasalle Rd, Oak Ridge, which is on the west end of town just off of Robertsville Road.

    • Guest parking is available in the lower lot beside the church building. You may also park along the street. If those spaces are full, continue past the church to the additional lot on the right.

    • A volunteer will be available to help, but you will not be pressured or singled out. You may grab coffee, ask a question, or head directly into the auditorium.

Try to arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early if you are checking in children.

    • Ridge Kids is available for infants through fifth grade during the Sunday service.

When you arrive, a volunteer can help you check in your child and show you the classroom. Children enjoy music, activities, and age-appropriate teaching about Jesus.

Your child’s safety matters to us. Add a brief description here of check-in security, volunteer screening, and pickup procedures.

Children are also welcome to stay with you during the service.

    • The service begins with about 20-25 minutes of modern Christian worship music. You may sing, stand, or simply observe.

After the music, a pastor teaches from the Bible for about 40 minutes. The teaching is honest, practical, and designed to be understandable even if you are unfamiliar with the Bible.

The service concludes with weekly communion and the singing of the Doxology.

The full service lasts about 75 minutes.

    • Wear what feels comfortable. Most people dress casually. You will see jeans, business-casual clothing, and everything in between.

    • Yes! Visit our Youtube page and test drive a full service | Ridge Church Live

    • No. You will not be asked to stand, introduce yourself, or give money. You are free to observe and take everything at your own pace.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT RIDGE CHURCH

Here are some real reviews from Google and Facebook

The people at the Ridge are authentic and understand that none of us are perfect and all of us need to be loved and belong. At the Ridge, it's okay to not be okay, but you don't have to stay that way. If you are looking for a modern, upbeat, gospel-centered church that believes in loving people rather than judging them, the Ridge just might be the place for you.

Best church in town. Really fell in love when I looked over their website, and I thank God for giving me such a great church.

Two of the biggest reasons I like attending Ridge Church is because the pastors and teachers are real, they speak about their own fault or past sins so you know they are just like you, human! The other reason is because everyone is welcome at Ridge Church, regardless of your current situation in life, regardless of the color of your skin, regardless of your appearance, regardless of your mistakes both past and present. This is exactly how Jesus treated and does treat others.

Real people who are REALLY trying to follow Jesus, not just offer lip service. Welcoming people to join them, too. I love these guys.
